Wobbly and unusable - poor customer service July 30, 2010 maccollin I received the bench in the box and the assembly takes some work. As I got the base together, I realized that it was warped. The legs wobble with about 2-3 inches of space from the floor. I checked over the assembly to make sure I did everything right, and according to the instructions, I did. I stopped assembling and called the 1-800 number that's printed on a sheet of paper that comes in the package. I got a voice mail and left a message. No response. Emailed. No response. I'll have to send this back but am not sure how/where to send.
Gives a great workout! July 10, 2010 jjderrick The workout bench was easy to assemble although the manual makes it look very difficult. As for workouts, the bench works great though i'm 6'2" so I do have to move back and forth on the bench a little bit in order for it to be comfortable depending on what type of workout you are doing.
In summary the bench is great for all but the sit up position but that is only due to height restrictions. I wouldn't recommend the bench for anyone over 6 feet tall.
Decent bench for dumbbells June 16, 2010 Scott (Redondo Beach, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As noted in other reviews this isn't a large bench. I'm 5'11 and that seems about max height. Yes there is some assembly required but not too bad considering the cost. All pieces fit together and I'm happy with how it turned out. If you don't want to spend a lot of cash, you're not huge and looking for a bench to do dumbbell workout this could be the bench for you.
Good quality June 12, 2010 S. Chen (Summit, NJ, US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The bench is easy to put together (does take some time though), and it is very well made. The only issue I had was the package of nuts/bolts had ripped, and I was afraid some might be missing but everything was there. This bench is on the small side so if you are a bigger person, you might want to pick something else. For its size and price, I say this is a steal.
Great for the shorties. June 11, 2010 J. Howard 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm only 5'7, so this works great for me, worth every penny and the best deal I've seen. My friend is 6'1 and it's way too small (not long enough) for him, so keep that in mind.
Quality is decent, but it won't stand up to 4-hour a day every day use. For the average user it's tough enough. The hooks on the side for holding the weights are useless too. They just get in the way and I never could figure out how you were supposed to get them on the hooks without getting off the bench first, but then what's the point?
