5 out of 5 stars Paradigm 100 Inversion Table   May 11, 2010
M. Ell (Lincoln County, MO USA)
I purchased this item to replace the traction machine I was going to physical therapy for and to alleviate the pressure I felt in my back, you know that feeling that something is pulling you down and you feel like your gonna break in half. I have 2 bulging disks and this product does help me.
It is important that you see a doctor and make sure that he approves of this product because it is not recommended for some conditions and you will also need to be doing some strength training for your back.
It is hard to get used to hanging upside down but I only hang there for a couple minutes at a time. You will get red in the face from the blood rushing to your head and the first few times you may get a little light headed coming back up...so take it easy and gradually get used to it.
There are instructions in the book that comes with it for how to use it and how to put it together.
It is very well built and sturdy but I did need someone to help put it together mainly because of my back problems.
I believe it is just as good as any of the more expensive ones out there.
I have no problem getting back up from inversion.
The ankle pads are good...I did not find them uncomfortable.
I have no complaints about it and would recommend it to anyone looking for relief from back pain, with doctor approval of course.

I needed to try something for the pain in my neck. This has worked very well plus it just plain feels great to stretch out and straingten my body. It was a good choice.

I read many great reviews about this before buying and they were all right on! Very easy to assemble, very quick delivery, good piece of equipment at a very reasonable price.

5 out of 5 stars A Great Deal   December 23, 2009
Nerfy (Ohio)
This lower-priced model doesn't seem low-end. It's very smooth. Once I adjusted it to my height, it's so well balanced I can hold myself at any angle, from a slight incline to 180. While doing so, it's possible to put pressure on your abs, making it a great plank workout (totally optional). The foot holders are comfortable enough. Considering the price, I couldn't be happier with it. It was a bit tricky to assemble, so follow the directions closely (I didn't). I would buy it again.

3 out of 5 stars Good value but uncomfortable...   December 2, 2009
Derek Krzanowski (Merrill, WI)
I have had back and neck problems all my life and I always wondered if one of these would help so I figured I'd give it a shot. After way way to many hours researching which one I'd like to buy, I finally settled on this one. One of the main reasons was that the leg straps were different from all the others and everyone complains about all the others hurting there legs. Well, I'm sorry to say that this one isn't any better, if not worse. Unless you have the perfect sized ankles (I don't) you will never be able to get the clamps tight around your legs and if you don't, you might as well not even try it because it will hurt really bad as soon as you get upside down. I have managed to get it to clamp tightly a couple times and then it isn't so bad but I still can't hang for more than 10 minutes or so before it starts to hurt pretty bad. I am pretty average sized so I really don't think that I am the exception here. That said, I do still think it's a pretty good deal for the money. If they would increase the number of adjustments in the leg clamps and replace the pads with softer rubber or add a layer of padding to them it would be perfect for the money.
