I love this bolster! It is the perfect size for using as a prop during yoga class or at home. It is very durable and has comfortable fabric. A must have for beginners-advanced practitioners.

I'm quite pleased with this bolster. I've been exploring restorative yoga and after attending a three hour workshop in the technique, decided to add the Hugger Mugger bolster to my assortment of props - mostly blankets and blocks. A good bolster brings my practice to a new level, it has a sturdiness that blankets can't match (although my blankets are still valuable).
I have a stiff lower back and usually prop myself up on folded blankets to maintain a neutral spine during prana and meditation, but now I find using the bolster as a "booster seat" provides much more stability for my spine.
I am also very pleased with the color. Online it appears a sort of screaming blueberry shade, but I was quite happy to open the box and find a subdued, darker shade of blue - think a professional business suit. It is not a distracting color at all. Well made, you can zip off the cover to wash it, and it has a convenient handle. If you've been wanting a bolster, don't wait any longer!

I bought this bolster about 5 years ago and it's still almost as good as new. I use it almost daily and the seams are perfect, the inside filling is still firm, and the handle on the end makes it easy to move around.
I use it for several things. One is support in yoga poses such as legs-up-the-wall, as well as under the length of my spine while in resting poses. I feel it gives more support for the spine in some poses than the round bolsters do. Although the round bolsters are fine for certain things, I feel they tend to flatten out over time, so might as well buy one that shape to begin with! Another way I use this is for support behind my back when I sit on my couch.
This bolster is the support for my all time favorite restorative pose: I put a block under the head end and then lie along the bolster with my legs up on the couch, so my head and legs are up, my low back has a pleasant arch, and my bottom is on the floor. Also, when I can't sleep at night, that's the pose I do and it usually helps me fall back to sleep.
Thinking of these poses makes me want to do them now!
This is a high quality bolster and worth every penny.

The fabric and construction is of highest quality. More firm that those used in my local yoga studios. There was no choice of color when I purchased but I am pleased with the navy blue that was sent.
